Please reply: A or B. Attached are two files: A and B. They show two logos. Please reply and say which one you favor. Thanks to Aira, Chip, Eleonore Jones and Gary Rodosta for working so diligently to make a logo. We've arrived at two and need to decide on one. The key difference between the logos is the representation of the bicyclist but the font style and other graphics including the "M", the skyline, the shading, etc. are all factors that we've considered. Please reply just to me. I will tally the vote. If there's a tie, I will select by flipping a coin. Keep in mind that the logo will be used on anything we produce from as big as billboards to as small as correspondence documents and in media including web site, facebook, twitter, billboards and paper. Good morning, I made the following additions to the list. I added Positive Spin because our focus is on getting people started biking who can't afford to otherwise - and lot's of them are new to town and have trouble finding us. I added the community centers because these are places where many of our customers need to go. Basnettville Bridge S225-218-10.86 Proposed bridge carries WV218 over Paw Paw Creek and is located 0.03 miles south of the intersection of WV 218 with marion Co. CR17. The proposed bridge is 100' in length, two 11' lanes, with no sidewalk and 2-3' shoulders. To provide accessibility and better bicycle/pedestrian accommodation, it is being discussed that the shoulders be expanded to 4'. McDowell Co. Bartley Branch Road Bridge S324-83/3-0.02 Little or no shoulders on road, no accommodation is being recommended. Taylor Co. Bridge Street Bridge S246-9-0.02 Location: carries Taylor County Route 9 over Three Fork Creek, CSX railroad and Front Street, approximately 0.02 miles east of the intersection of US119-CR 9. The proposed replacement bridge is approximately 450' in length and will have two 11' lanes with two 5' shoulders and a 5' sidewalk. Bike Route Map Meeting...

Hey guys, I'm scheduling another Bike Route Map meeting in about a week and a half. The following evenings work for me. Monday February 15th- anytime after approx. 5:30 Tuesday February 16th- anytime after approx. 5:30 Please let me know ASAP if you CAN or CAN'T attend, so we can reserve a room somewhere. If at least 2 or 3 Also, please take your Bike Route Map that I've emailed and mark any destinations (hotels, restaurants, etc) that you feel should be added to the map. If you have time to ride some of the routes, please do and mark any steep sections, one-way streets, or roads in poor condition (gravel sections, potholes, etc). We need your input. Confident City Cycling 2/13

Bicycle Board Members, For those of you that have not completed the Traffic Skills 101 course, if you want to complete the on-line course at http://www.bikeed.org and then do the hands on part at the Coliseum and on local roads, I will schedule the Coliseum for Saturday, February 13, 2010 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. We will meet at the Coliseum Room 252, learn and practice crash avoidance maneuvers in the parking lot and then practice traffic skills in. traffic! Please reply ASAP. If another date would suit you better, let me know. Also, I'm conducting the full live course here in Morgantown Sat. 2/27 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and Sun. 2/28 8:30 am - Noon and you're welcome to participate. I currently have 4 likely participants so have room for up to 2 more. This should be an interesting class because at least 3 of the participants are taking the course so they can then attend the League Cycling Instructor (LCI) seminar to become LCIs. That means they'll probably bring much knowledge with them to share. They're from Parkersburg, Wheeling and Erie. Bicycle Board Members, Anyone interested in leading a ride for the participants of the Statewide MPO conference in September? There are 7 MPOs in the state. They make the transportation plans for the state's metropolitan areas. Getting them focused on cycling could have an impact across the state. Their home base is the Hotel Morgan.
