At last night's BB meeting, I took an action item to send you info on 9/26 workshop in Charleston on getting MAP-21 funds. Below is the info. So far, I think I, Christiaan, Traci and Ella Belling (Director of Mon River Trails Conservancy) will attend so I think you could carpool. I encourage all BB members to attend because this workshop can very efficiently enable us to identify funding sources that offer a high probability of giving us money and will very efficiently show us what we must do to get it. Please register for this event and reply-to-all with your intent to attend so we can coordinate. Also, let me know if you're interested in riding down.

Navigating MAP-21 Workshop on September 26, 2013 in Charleston, WV Hosted by West Virginia Cycling Foundation and Regional Intergovernmental Council Register for this event » The workshop is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and resources to access untapped or under-utilized federal funding sources at the state, regional and local level to build bicycling and walking infrastructure and programs.
With a focus on the new transportation bill, Navigating MAP-21 Workshop participants will learn how to maximize funding in the new Transportation Alternatives program and utilize all MAP-21 funding programs for bicycle and pedestrian projects at the state and local levels.

During the workshops, participants will:
