The League of Women Voters will host a Candidate Forum for the candidates for the Board of Education in Monongalia County on Wednesday, April 23rd, 7 to 9 pm at the Village at Heritage Point.
Robert Core, Michael Kelly, Barbara Parsons, and Clarence Harvey are the four candidates vying for three Board seats.
The election on May 13 is the final election for the Board of Education; it is not a primary. The three with the most votes will be on the Board of Education.
The public is welcome to come and ask questions during the forum, and then mingle with the candidates over refreshments. The Village at Heritage Point is off Pineview Drive, off the road to Mon General Hospital.
