FYI:
Counsel for PATH today advised that -- on Friday of this week -- PATH intends to file with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia, its application for a certificate of convenience and necessity to construct a 765 kV electric transmission line from AEP's John Amos plant in Winfield, WV to Maryland. We will get a hard copy and a digital copy. I will forward the digital copy on receipt, but it will also be available shortly after filing from the PSC web page.

Thanks for the heads up, Bill. We are trying to find out what the status of our funding is so that we can hire experts ASAP. Can you tell me what the first filing deadline will be for intervenors, and what that filing entails? I'd like to also alert the other anti-PATH activists. Thanks,
Elena

Another thought-- I'm sure Allegheny/AEP will do a big press release Friday touting their application as the best thing ever to hit West Virginia. It would be great if the West Virginia chapter had a response ready to go - maybe you could even alert reporters that this is coming to try to make sure they have a balanced story. -Elena
