Another thought-- I'm sure Allegheny/AEP will do a big press release Friday touting their application as the best thing ever to hit West Virginia.  It would be great if the West Virginia chapter had a response ready to go - maybe you could even alert reporters that this is coming to try to make sure they have a balanced story.

PATH - APPLICATION TO BE FILED FRIDAY MAY15





FYI:

Counsel for PATH today advised that --  on Friday of this week -- PATH intends to file with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia, its application for a certificate of convenience and necessity to construct a 765 kV electric transmission line from AEP's John Amos plant in Winfield, WV to Maryland.  We will get a hard copy and a digital copy.  I will forward the digital copy on receipt, but it will also be available shortly after filing from the PSC web page.
