There are only 39 days and counting until the annual Cheat Fest kicks off in Albright.

The Cheat River Festival will be on May 2nd from noon-11 p.m.

It features dozens of bands, a kids tent, and of course, education about the Cheat River.

All of the proceeds from the event go to Friends of the Cheat to help reserve, preserve and promote the river.

Tickets to the festival and the annual t-shirts are on sale at CheatFest.org.
