Well, although the WV media has apparently totally boycotted the Sierra Club's endorsement of Jesse, someone noticed:

Karen and all -
SC's endorsement was also noted in a headline story in the Martinsburg Journal Sunday 10/19.

Both before and after the gubernatorial debate n Morgantown last week, the Dominion Post mentioned the SC endorsement. I had also written a letter to the editor about voting for Johnson, and the DP ran it twice, Sunday and Tuesday. I don't think that has ever happened to me before, but lots of people have commented to me on that. Of course, I only talk to my friends, so this means we have not yet won the race for Governor.

Yeah - and someone sent in from Europe that they'd seen the endorsement there.

Oh, this is a new low. We can get coverage in Europe but not in WV.
Similar to the MIC (think Bhopal, India) storage issue. Bayer does not store large quantities of MIC in Belgium or Germany. They make it as they need it. However, they stockpile it to the tune of 200,000+ pounds in the Kanawha Valley. The explosion at the end of August took place close to where the MIC is stored. Bayer personnel bowed, scraped and apologized at the recent meeting with citizens. Now we find out there has been yet another unreported breach and some employees were contaminated. We only found out because one of the employees went for treatment at a local hospital.
