This is a nice visual, but it is obviously glossing over some of the risks. While much of the description is accurate, I don't think any responsible geologist would conclude that there is no risk to groundwater.
The concluding sentence is "The technology is available NOW." The key word is "Available". If that is the case, industry should put their money where their mouth is, and we should insist on it as BACT.

Yes, a nice visual. But the bias and disinformation were so overwhelming I can give it no credibility. "Everything's rosy, let's burn coal."

The video does have some very credible people speaking, and the mechanisms of sequestration are well enough understood that what they say is technically correct. The matter of economics did not come up, and that is where the coal industry will draw the battle lines. If done correctly, CCS is likely to be safe and effective. But it won't be cheap, and the coal industry will attempt to cut corners, duck liability, and cry economic doom whenever this technology is required. "Yes it is technically feasible, but it is too expensive, so let us burn coal the old-fashioned cheap and dirty way." Economics will drive them towards the cheapest solution, not necessarily the safest or most effective.
Ultimately, we will once again have the burden of proving that cleaner energy is both an environmental and an economic necessity.
