I especially love the quote from DEP that "the rain assisted in the clean-up" of the spilled oil. Do they wonder why nobody takes them seriously.

Nine barrels is something approaching 500 gallons.

White Day Creek in Marion County

A tanker accident in Marion County, WV, in the Monongahela watershed, resulted in a spill of nine barrels of a chemical used in fracking. The chemical spilled onto a road and into a stream which feeds White Day Creek. Residents were warned to keep their animals away from the stream.
