Anyone out there know of any research about whether there has been an increase in wind across the country in recent years and, if so, possible causes.****

The ex of one of my wife’s friends is a cross-country truck driver. Apparently in his circles there is a belief that wind speeds have increased in recent years and there is a dialogue going on speculating as to whether it is caused by all the new “wind-mills” or climate change. I’ve been asked if I know anything about this and I don’t.****

I would say anecdotally, and as a person who travels the highways a lot that I tend to agree recent years have been a bit windier.****
