Thanks, Bill.
On Friday, the Commission granted our petition to intervene but denied the request for a hearing. Order attached.
Happy to discuss tomorrow, but I don't see much value in pushing any further for a hearing given this decision. Also, if I'm understand Jackie's thinking correctly, it's that we'll have a better chance to challenge a request to transfer ownership in the Pleasants plant in a future proceeding if less happens at this stage. That is, if a hearing were held now, that could put FE in a better position with respect to the asset transfer because they could argue that the transfer was contemplated in the IRP and a hearing was held, etc etc.

CAG will send an alert tomorrow. Jim, can you get a HELEN alert out also?
Text message for Wednesday.
Come to a gathering at Noon on Wednesday, April 27th outside the Public Service Commission offices at 201 Brooks Street, Charleston. Tell them we want clean energy, good jobs and affordable bills NOW. WV deserves a clean energy future.
Contact Bill Price at 304-389-8822 if you need further information.
Note: Jackie Roberts would like not to have a hearing also, but to concentrate on getting experts. We can discuss on Tuesday's call whether a call for hearings or not should be in our message on Wednesday. For now concentrating on the demands of clean energy, good jobs and affordibiltty will resonate with Charleston area folks.

First Energy says 7 utilities filed IRPs, but theirs is the only one being picked on!
This looks like an opportunity to expand the news attention, and emphasize our message..

Should we plan a call Monday to get our action in order?
