This morning I observed the headline article in The Daily Athenaeum was WVU's "SGA supports coal industry regulation", good I thought, the SGA supports strong EPA regulation. However, that wasn't what the article was about at all. Instead the SGA came out with an informational proclamation that supports the organization 'FACES of Coal" which has the exact opposite goal. This is a complete reversal of face for WVU SGA which in the past has been progressive. I am curious about how this happened. Has the coal industry infiltrated the SGA or are a larger percentage of WVU students simply unable to see anything in the future other than coal?
