This link gives some pretty good numbers for the number of Green Jobs identified by the US Conference of Mayors. Print a copy and give it to your Mayor. Then ask him/her how many green jobs are in their town. See if they can do some sort of proclamation or photo op for Earth Day. Let's generate some warm fuzzy feelings among our Mayors.

P.S. The report does include nuclear power in the category of green jobs, so it is not perfect. But it is a great start.
