Save the Fund That Saved the Gauley, New, Cheat and More!
Please help renew the Land and Water Conservation Fund
Have you paddled the Gauley? Gone down the New? Played in the Cheat? Or enjoyed the view at Blackwater Falls?
All were made possible by the Land and Water Conservation Fund. For 50 years, it used royalties from offshore drilling to fund access to some of our best lands and rivers—lots of state parks and forests, too! It expired September 30—even though most Senators and Representatives wanted to reauthorize it.
We want it back and we're on Capitol Hill today to let our congressional members know. Please let them know you back us up!
Contact your U.S. Representative and click here to sign our petition for reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund.
