In just under two weeks on May 24, Memorial Day Weekend, we will be
spinning again with Country Road Cyclists like we did last year!
Everyone is invited. Beginning at Positive Spin, we
will join Country Roads Cyclists (CRC) for a ride up the Deckers
Creek Trail to Masontown (milepost 13), then return to Positive
Spin. Keep in mind that you can ride whatever distance you want,
that is one of the nice aspects about group trail rides. Then we
will have an informal potluck picnic at Positive Spin about
4:30pm. Please bring a dish to share, or food can be purchased in
Sabraton. A grill will be available.
Lynn Clough represented us this year at the Green Team's Green
Households Fair at the Farmer's Market, April 18. Attached is a
photo of her at that event. Thank-you, Lynn!
I want to remind everyone, that there is a Board Meeting, today,
Monday, at 7:30pm at the Spin. If you are interested in attending,
and have not already spoken to me, please contact me by email so I
can print out enough material for the meeting. Our board was
awarded Volunteer of the Year at Morgantown's 2014 Celebration of
America, and our Annual Meeting is coming soon, June 28. Interested
in serving? One of the purposes of the Annual Meeting is to appoint
Directors nominated by the Nominating Committee or from the floor.
Can't make today's meeting? Our next board meeting is June 15.
