I was at the armory last night, sorting toys/food. PLEASE BE CAREFUL GOING OUT THAT ROAD.  There are no lights yet, and a detour sign, at which point if you are going too fast, you could plunge over the hill. They have put up signs on Hartman run road saying "Holiday toy/ food giveaway" to indicate where to turn. Just above the Budget truck parking lot if coming from Sabraton. If coming from the mileground, turn left at the Adult Toy Box . Go about 1 and 1/2 miles. There is no armory sign, it says " Readiness Center. "

Happy Holidays to all at the spin,
Marge Marino

Greetings,

For anyone that might want to help with our participation in the Christian help toy giveaway, we will be meeting at the spin at 2pm on Dec 17th to load and transport bikes out to the new armory.  In past years, we took half the bikes on this first run and then brought a load over late morning on the day of the event.  Don't know till we see our new location if this is still required.

The toy giveaway will be on Dec 18 from 8am to 5pm and all Positive Spin volunteers are welcome to help.  As I recall there is a break from 12-1 and lunch is provided.

The new armory is on the Morgantown Airport property.  It was built right on the east end of what once was runway 5-23.  There is a new access road being built, which comes out at 857 but it will not be done in time.   Access is currently from Hartman Run road.  If coming from Sabraton take a right on Everlasting Ln which is just north of Woodland Ter trailer park.  This road loops around the south end of runway 18-36 and takes you out to the armory.  I tried but failed to get an address, but if you plan on coming out, I still think it would be useful to open your favorite map app to get a sense for where the access road intersects with Hartman Run.

Cheers,
Bill
