Friends -
Apologies for mass distribution and cross postings, but on my professional side I am part of an assessment of the perceived health needs of Mon County. As such, we are asking residents of Mon County to complete a very brief, 5 minute survey about our community's health needs. This is a tremendous opportunity to guide future investment by Ruby & the Health Department. Much like the many transportation & other plans our local entities put together, our voice is needed to guide these efforts to make Mon County an even greater place to walk, bike, breathe, and live. Information follows. Thanks for considering!

Please forward to other lists, including neighborhood associations, children's/adults' sports leagues, etc.
Thanks so much!

Dear Monongalia County citizens:
The WVU School of Public Health (WVU SPH) and the Monongalia County Health Department  (MCHD) need your help! Every three years, non-profit hospitals are required to conduct Community Health Needs Assessments and develop implementation plans for how the health needs of our county residents will best be addressed. WVU Hospital is partnering with MCHD and WVU SPH to complete the assessment and develop an improvement plan. These 2 groups recognize the importance of hearing from the actual citizens benefiting from and receiving these services.  WVU SPH and MCHD want to integrate your valuable input and engage the county-wide community in the assessment and planning efforts of this work.  Please click on the following link or copy and paste it into your web browser to take the brief survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/communityhealth_assessment.  It will take you approximately 5 minutes to complete and your input is highly valuable. This work is all in an effort to make Monongalia County a healthier place to live, work and play.  For more information you may contact: Jessica Coffman at jecoffman@hsc.wvu.edu or 304-293-6283.
