Yes, this information could have had a significant effect in the early
days
if the WV Department of Environmental Protection and EPA had wanted
to
protect the air of our region. It appears that Longview has all the
financing
they need; and, they claim the construction is currently 65%
complete.
Also, when the scrubbers at Ft. Martin and Hatfield Ferry go on-line next
year,
the particulate condition of the area will be
improved.
