I'd say Jim's summary is correct for the most part. Exceptions: I assumed the point of no return would be as early as 20 years, not 5. I also probably didn't make it clear that it wasn't only warming that would kill us, but the combined effects of mass extinctions and warming. As for how long before that would happen, I can only guess: maybe 100 years.
That should be enough for MVCAC to decide what your stance is.
