The WV Legislature passed a near-total abortion ban in 2022. Now they want to make it worse!

SB 352 requires health professionals to deceive their patients by sharing medically inaccurate claims and pushing discredited protocols that could harm patients. This bill is on first reading on the Senate floor. It would:

- Creates special requirements for consent for abortion that do not improve counseling or even provide accurate information - Requires providers to lie to patients and push possibly harmful claims about medication abortion. - Push the deceptive and incendiary idea of “born alive” to try to make people support obstacles to abortion – and to perpetuate lies about how abortion is provided.
