Following up on Lyn's email and our letter to the WVU Board of Governors and administration, I wanted to forward this survey from Create WV regarding the WVU debacle, which was shared with me by several people. You don't have to be a WVU alum to complete this survey.  Everyone in our state is affected by what is happening with the University.

We need to let the Board of Governors and the adminstration know that we oppose cuts proposed for the faculty, staff, degrees, and course offerings, as well as the punitive manner in which these cuts are being implemented and the obvious efforts to downplay the adverse impacts on the university, the community, and the state. The survey and tonight's visioning session are another way to make some noise and take action in response to the WVU bugetary crisis.

Subject: Fw: [Create WV] WVU Visioning Survey - Sept. 6, 11:59pm Deadline

FRIENDS,
PLEASE TAKE THE SURVEY ATTACHED RE: THE DEBACLE AT WVU.  (It took me under 4 min. to respond).

It's due by 11:59 p.m. WED. SEPT 6.

It's sponsored by Create WV (with THANKS for this courageous effort to Rebecca Kimmons, Dan Page, and Morgan King), which is holding 4 public hearings around the state.

There's one more WED. SEPT 6 AT 6 PM, YOU CAN PARTICIPATE BY ZOOM (see attached).

IT'S CRITICAL THAT WE HELP STOP THE IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE ABOUT TO BE DONE TO OUR 'FLAGSHIP' UNIVERSITY.
Thanks!

FROM CREATE WV:
We invite you to take a few minutes to provide your vision for WVU in writing. The survey should take less than 10 minutes, and the deadline is 11:59 pm on Wednesday, September 6th. Take the survey here.

Please share with your networks, too!

On September 6th at 6 pm, there will be another session in-person in Morgantown and on zoom, which you can access here.
.
Best,
Morgan King
