1) Safeguarding Equal Rights is one of LWVWV’s legislative priorities.  Equal rights includes trans rights.  To succeed in the 21st Century, West Virginia must be welcoming for all.

2) LWVWV supports health care for all West Virginians including access to evidence-based treatment.  Evidence-based healthcare for trans kids can be life-saving care.

HB 2007 violates these principles.
