I need your help.
Acting on the go-ahead from the annual convention, I have begun researching the history of the LWV-WV consensus position on election practices adopted in 1970. Before the Internet. Before Google.
I began searching close to home -- in the archives of LWV-Morgantown/Monongalia County at the WVU Regional History Center. After 3 afternoons and literally dozens of boxes, I found only a fraction of what I sought.
It appears that LWV-WV archives may be part of the collection held in Charleston at the WV State Archives at the Capitol Complex. According to the list attached, Box 5 of Ms 2018-002 contains items #13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, which may be relevant to my search.
Before I book an appointment and drive to Charleston (and back), I would like to know whether any of you posses any of these materials. If so, please give me a call or send an email and we can discuss next steps.
Thank you so much!
- Judy
