Hey, Guys,
I don’t know about any greenwashing! You may
just be washing yourselves out of a good opportunity to educate college
students about sustainability. Take another look at the mission statement
of the convention. It’s to educate folks about
sustainability. I think this is a perfect place for a Sierra Club table
filled with our information about sustainability! I hope someone can
come. I’ll be happy to meet someone for an early lunch, have some
good conversation, and help you set up. Unfortunately, I have another
engagement midafternoon to 8 pm, so I can’t offer to join anyone for
supper afterwards.
By the way, the faculty advisor, Dr. Scott Bellamy, is a very good
man. I don’t think he would have sent the invitation to Sierra Club
accidentally.
