Subject: January Story Call and Brainstorming
To:
pjgrunt@gmail.comHappy New Year!!
I'm busy putting together the editorial calendar and this is a busy month, with Congress back to work, legislative sessions getting underway, the transition at the White House, and the economic situation are all stories that provide easy set up for stories. President-elect Obama is meeting with Congressional leaders today about his vision for an economic stimulus package, and what means to the states. If anyone is interested in jumping on that story idea, I'm standing by and would love to send it to stations!
Reaction to state budget addresses always play well with radio stations, and if you're interested in participating in a re-ax piece, let me know.
And to get the creative juices flowing on story "pegs" below is my list of nationally and locally-known observances, and even some lesser-known crazy ones.
