Job Summary |
The successful candidate will have experience in the application for and compliance with air permits for the natural gas industry. Responsibilities to include: 1. Provide support to company management to incorporate regulatory air requirements in the development and completion of construction projects. Provide preparation and/or technical review of applications, studies, and reports, and lead negotiations to ensure timely issuance with favorable conditions. Provide support to field construction management to comply with regulatory requirements. 2. Provide regulatory analyses of NSPS, NESHAP, NSR and PSD for new and existing assets. 3. Preparation of air permit applications for natural gas compressor stations, processing facilities, dehydration units, turbines, and auxiliary generators. 4. Conduct permit condition review and tracking for operational compliance with permit conditions, Clean Air Act regulations, FERC requirements, and local requirements. 5. Coordinate resolution of potentially non-compliant situation representing Dominion to federal and state agencies. 6. Participate in agency meetings and inspections. 7. Maintain environmental compliance system related to air regulations, and complete annual, semi-annual reporting as required by Federal and State regulatory agencies. |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities |
- Minimum of 5 years direct experience of air regulatory programs in natural gas industry - Knowledgeable or expert level understanding of air regulations to natural gas industry. - Proven ability to independently develop, implement; administer complex plans and processes for company Operations and Engineering. - Excellent communication skills to translate interpretations of and implementation plans for environmental regulation and regulatory compliance into understandable impacts to Operations, Engineering and Dominion Environmental Services. - Ability to diplomatically handle challenging situations with regulatory agencies, the public, or company personnel. - Knowledge of natural gas industry operations. - Apply writing skills to prepare and/or review compliance and regulatory documents. Excellent writing skills required. - Ability to work in a functionally diverse Team environment |
