It's a somewhat bizzare suggestion that ignores two realities:

a) What coal company has a strong enough balance sheet (right now or anytime soon) to finance a multi-billion dollar project with highly uncertain cash flows?

b) Even if they could, EPA regulations now require CCS for new coal plants (thanks Obama), so.... see above.
