No Nukes Summit — May 4-6

The Club’s No Nukes Team invites Club members who want to help develop a national anti-nuclear campaign to gather at the Western Theological Union in Washington, D.C., May 4-6, 2012.

The Summit will feature presentations from national nuclear experts Kevin Kamps from Beyond Nuclear and Arjun Makhijani, author of Carbon Free Nuclear Free.There will also be sessions on the True Cost of Nukes, Nuclear Waste, Replacing Nuclear with Renewables and Efficiency, and How to Harness Online Tools and Social Media to Communicate, Collaborate, and Organize.
