I don't normally bother with petitions, but we really need a national bottle bill as part of a climate response.  The petition is just a token effort, but it might be something that some of you can pass along.

A national bottle bill would be a free way to create 100,000 new jobs, recycle about 1.5 billion containers every year, and save a percent or so of our national energy each year.  14 states have bottle bills and nothing industry has ever said to oppose this legislation is true.
