We were eager to work with your council in the past and wish to continue the fight with you.  I am sending this to the whole Sierra Club Energy Committee so that all will know of your interest and have an opportunity to respond to  you.  We are continuing to raise money to fight TrAIL and PATH and welcome you as an ally.  We have need of more funds for consultants and legal expenses.  I am also sending our press release in case you have not seen it.

Karen—I got your name off the Sierra Club West Virginia web site.  Could you pass along this email to the appropriate contact?  I am with Piedmont Environmental Council in Virginia.  We have been fighting the TrAIL line here.  I see that you have gotten an adverse ruling from the West Virginia Public Service Commission.  We got a similar result from the Hearing Examiner in Virginia.  Piedmont Environmental Council is willing to work with the Sierra Club in West Virginia to continue to oppose the TrAIL line.  If there is any interest, please have the appropriate person contact me.  Thanks.
