Dear Jim,
A while back we emailed to let you know that registration was open for the 2011 Good Jobs, Green Jobs National Conference, which is being held February 8-10 in Washington, D.C. Now, we are excited to announce that the workshop program is now available to view online.
We encourage you to register for the 2011 Conference now to be sure to take advantage of this once-a-year opportunity.
Every year, the Good Jobs, Green Jobs Conference brings together stakeholders from across the spectrum of those working to create good, green jobs across the country. This year, we again received hundreds of proposals, and after careful review, have selected the most interesting and informative sessions that will truly define what is happening now in this critical green jobs effort.
The 2011 Good Jobs, Green Jobs National Conference is the leading forum for sharing ideas and strategies for building the green economy. This year’s Conference — focused on putting these ideas into practice and creating good green jobs across the country — will bring together leaders from the labor, environmental, government and business communities for a discussion on how to move our economy forward with good, safe jobs that help to protect the environment for the next generation.
This year’s workshops represent important concentrations in building the green economy, including: Green Infrastructure and Transportation; State and Local Initiatives and Partnerships; Workforce, Economic Development and Youth Education; Emerging Green Sectors: Recycling, Chemicals, Water, Agriculture and Other Growing Industries; Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency; Business, Investments and New Markets; and Clean Energy Manufacturing.
Register today, check back to www.greenjobsconference.org for updates, and follow us on Twitter or Facebook for the the latest news about the 2011 Conference.
See you in February.
Sincerely,
David Foster
