This would be a long shot, and likely would mostly grab headlines, but what if we launched a "claw back" suit to recover those ill-gotten gains for the benefit of Alpha's environmental legacies and miner pension funds?
The guy's take may be only $30,000, but this is clearly money spent to deceive and mislead investors (not to mention political leaders, etc.) Perhaps we could do the same with campaign contributions.
(there may be all kinds of laws against it, but a guy can dream, and today is April Fools!).
