A new research article from Mike McCawley (WVU) uses some pre-existing literature as well as Wetzel County measurements and suggests that noise impacts may lead to human health effects.  First such study for unconventional gas drilling.

This may be relevant to the wind farm noise debate, as the levels provide guidance for setbacks, etc.
