Cheat Lake is currently at el. 867-ft.  Lake Lynn Generation, LLG (Lake Lynn) will be drawing Cheat Lake down to about elevation 860-ft during the next week or so to accommodate the required dredging at the Sunset Beach Marina public boat launch.  

If things go as planned, we plan to begin excavating sediments from the boat ramp during the week of March 9.  

We must complete the work this month and have the lake back at el. 863-ft by April 1.

Note: Normal summer pool height is between 868 and 870_ft above sea level.
