Thank you for participating in tonight's Greenbag Rd. Corridor Planning Open House!  Seting aside those whose attendance is part of their job such as WVDOH officials, MPO officials, the City Engineer, City Councilors, the Mayor, etc., it appeared to me that the majority of participants were bicyclists.  

One exercise was to prioritize projects in the Greenbag Rd. corridor.  Those that pertain to cycling certainly got more votes than such things normally get at these types of affairs.  I expect the officials noticed.  Tonight might have seen a shift in the attention cyclists get from our local and state government.

Please attend the Green Bag Rd. corridor planning open house to ensure that the "improved" Green Bag Rd. will be better for bicyclists.
TODAY, February 4th, Wednesday, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Marilla Park Recreation Center.

Currently, truckers and other motorists have the loudest voice and will get their way if there's no input from cyclists.
