Frank,

The language is vastly improved in the new document.  This document plus the added attention being afforded the "campus connector" through the Sunnyside Up initiative should go a long way in promoting the Traffic Commission agenda.

Thanks for all the hard work,

Margaret Roberts

Traffic Commission Members,

Please find attached, version 12 of the Morgantown Bicycle Plan.  This version is a revision of the version that I distributed at the the December 8, 2011 Traffic Commission meeting.  Version 12 contains changes in response to comments from Ed Preston, Perry Keller, Bill Austin, Terrence Moore received before our Dec. 12 meeting and from Terry Hough and Chris Fletcher received after our Dec. 12 meeting.

Since we canceled the Jan. 4 Traffic Commission meeting, we will not be able to discuss the plan again before we present it to City Council on January 31.  Therefore, we ask you to review the attached and reply with comments at your earliest convenience but soon enough for us to incorporate any changes before Jan. 31.  Say, Jan. 17? (please)

To make the plan as good as possible, we will remain open to comments and suggestions as long as we can.

The versions of the plan, the comments that we receive and our responses to the comments can all be found at http://db.tt/Bse1rpGr .  (When we received comments in MS Word or other editable format, our response to each comment appears within the document adjacent to the comment.)

Merry Christmas!
