At last night's BB meeting, I took an action item to send the BB info on the 9/19 Greater Pgh Active Transportation Summit at Carnegie Mellon University.  See http://pwpb2013.eventbrite.com/ for more detailed info.  

We can form alliances and learn much from other participants because Pgh has pulled way ahead of us in bicycle friendliness.  There are 4 concurrent workshops so it would be good to have 4 BB members attending.  

AFAIK, Jenny Selin is the only person from Mgtn attending.  I thank her for getting an invitation sent to me.  I think anyone could use the invitation code, MOVE20123C to register.  

I can't go but I'd love to.  I'd especially like to join the after workshop ride!

Pro Walk/Pro Bike/Pro Place 2013 – Register before it's too late

We are three weeks away from Pro Walk/Pro Bike/Pro Place 2013 - Moving Pittsburgh Forward September 19th, at Carnegie Mellon University. This free, invitation only, active transportation summit will be a day of open exchange, learning, networking, and commitment to action. Join us as we plan for more and better walking, biking, and places in the Pittsburgh region.
 
Our keynote speaker Mark Gorton, Founder of Streetsblog will inspire you. The speaker roster of regional and national leaders includes:
