Bicycle Board Members,

FYI, attached is a resolution passed by Charleston City Council to create 100 miles of marked biking, jogging and hiking trails and to be recognized as one of the healthiest Cities in the US.  Also attached is a plan for accomplishing that.

Subject: City of Charleston ped/bike plans

Friends,
A little update on what Charleston is doing that I am proud to report.  The mayor introduced the resolution and city council passed it unanimously this past Monday.  There are two council subcommittees that are tasked with the plans and goals to implement the resolution.

Things have been moving toward this the past few years, but this has certainly upped it to a new level.

Thanks
