We will need 3-4 Bicycle Board members to stay after tonight's City Council meeting to answer questions and to get input from Councilors and meeting participants on the Sharrows and BMUFL signs.  There will be 3 large maps around the room showing the sharrows and sign locations.  We will need at least one BB member at each of those maps.

Who will do this?

Fellow Cyclists,

Through the leadership of the Morgantown Bicycle Board, the City of Morgantown has received a grant to put Shared Lane Markings (aka Sharrows) and Bicycles May Use Full Lane signs on select City streets.  You can see the locations on maps at:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/0l21yql4731w3x7/SLM-BMUFL-MAP20150928.pdf?dl=0

Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29 at 7:00 pm at City Hall (389 Spruce St.) the City Engineer, Damien Davis will be presenting the plan to City Council.   Resistance to the plan is inevitable.  Your visible presence at tomorrow's meeting as well as at a public meeting planned for later next month can help move this forward.

You can view the presentation at:

Your thoughts are welcome.
