Excellent work! Thank you so much for following up so quickly on integrating the spine network into our paving plans. I look forward to hearing from you next month.

Good Afternoon,

In reviewing the mapping from last night: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1KdzWWW29ZXA3B4ZnTBQgb-ZWwJIHLJRa&ll=39.639645126548416%2C-79.96114647182617&z=12

with the 2018-2022 Paving Plan mapping: https://morgantownwv.gov/DocumentCenter/View/1987/2018-2022-Paving-Plan-Map?bidId=

I made general observation of potential bike facilities that could be installed with paving projects. That document is attached to this email. I also looked at the 2023-2027 data, and established the following Bicycle Board identified infrastructure routes in the City of Morgantown that will not receive planned improvements by Fall, 2027. These roadways/corridors are as follows:

Fairfield Street

Stafford/Western Connector

Congress Eastern Connector

Western Avenue

Koontz Avenue to Mountaineer Station

Dogwood Avenue

Keyser/Braddock Connectors

Maddison Avenue

Twigg Street

Leonard Street

Hayes Street

Carnegie Street

Luckey Street

Mountaineer Middle School connections

Terrace Heights connections

WVU connections

WVDOH connections

I will have more information at next month’s Bicycle Board meeting.

Thanks!
