Subject: Re: [Bikeboard] Bicycle Plan Budget

Frank,
I glanced at the cost estimates spreadsheet.  I concur, but wonder if Priority 5, Engineering 14 will cause any headache/discussion since the city's column says 'millions'.  I'd love to see that happen, too, but don't think 'millions' could be considered 'affordable'?  Perhaps you guys can discuss it and decide what to do with that section.  I'll concur with whatever you decide.  Try to let me know what you decide on that one, but I don't necessarily have to know at this point.  Also think that it will be a difficult sell to re-engineer that, although I'd love to see it happen and figure it's far better to ask than assume it can't be done.
Thanks for creating that and good luck on the 17th.

Bicycle Board Members,

On April 4, Damien, Chip and Frank met to develop cost estimates for the recommended projects in the Greater Morgantown Bicycle Plan.  This effort is in preparation for an April 17 meeting with Terrence for which he requested the Bicycle Board's recommendation of a set of affordable projects and cost estimates for them.  We developed estimates for the plan's 16 top priority projects.  The attached worksheet, Apr4Est.xlsx shows those estimates.

With your concurrence, we will present the attached to Terrence on April 17.  Please reply at your earliest convenience.
