FYI, Ella is working on a rails to trails cycling event (still in the planning stage). I don't know if the board would have any interest or want some involvement.

Just checking in again around the rails-to-trails conservancy’s sojourn event and want to include in packets for cyclists: other things to do in Morgantown in the evenings- music, theater, MET event, etc. starting Thursday April 23- Sunday April 26.  The cyclists will be on their own for dinners and entertainment after the day rides.  Again, we are hoping for about 100 cyclists.  Please let me know if you have some great activities on those days.

Also- wanted to approach trail restaurants about offering a “voucher” -free appetizer, beer, etc. to drive some business to Table 9, Oliverios, Lebanese Bistro, WV State Brewing Company in Wharf.  And maybe add on Sargasso, Morgantown Brewing Company, Terra Cafe, Antonio’s Italian Chophouse for trail side eating.  Or open it up to all of downtown restaurants as well?  I would like to prep restaurants some that cyclists are coming to town and are likely going to be return visitors and ambassadors.

I am willing to reach out on this unless you prefer it coming from someone else.  What do you think?  Feel free to call me, Ella
