Jim,

On Jan. 6, I sent the message below to all Education Committee members.  Looking at the minutes from the BB Jan. 6 meeting, I don't see any other action items on the program evaluation opportunity.  Could you remind us what we were going to do after your presentation about the program evaluation opportunity?

Education Committee,

As we discussed at tonight's Bicycle Board meeting, all correspondence about Jim Rye's Program Evaluation proposal should be copied to the whole Education Committee so that we all remain informed.   This message is addressed to all Education Committee members.  If you would ensure that these addressees are in the To:  or CC: field when sending messages about Program Evaluation, we should all be abreast of what's happening.

Folks, I have not hear from anyone re: the service described below as a potential for evaluating our web site.  Perhaps at this point it is not a priority.  If anyone wants me to go forward and submit a request for such evaluation, please let me know by Tuesday.  Otherwise, I am inclined to pass up the opportunity this year.
Thank you

Jim, I wonder if pointing at BikeMorgantown.com and challenging the EDP617 candidate to evaluate the effectiveness of BikeMorgantown.com at influencing cyclists to drive their bicycles as vehicles and influencing motorists to treat bicyclist as drivers of vehicles would get us anywhere?

Frank, again, this opportunity has presented itself.  If there is anything that you think we should submit for MEBEP, I can do that.
PS:  I am working at home today so will not be able to forward to you the 700 mpg info until tomorrow.

Hello Colleagues,

I am teaching EDP617: Program Evaluation as an online course this semester and requiring that students design and conduct evaluations of actual programs (with my supervision). If you have any program evaluation work you think a student or small group of students could help you with, please let me know ( reagan.curtis@mail.wvu.edu ) and I will make my class aware of the potential opportunity. Also, feel free to forward this to others you think might like to take advantage of this opportunity.

Please be aware that students will be choosing among several options based on their individual preferences so I cannot guarantee that your program will be selected for evaluation. I can, however, assure you that if your program is selected I will be working closely with students and requiring that they work closely with you to consider your evaluation needs. I am including the syllabus for the course to give you an idea of the time lines and assignments involved.

Thanks!
