Derek,

If you are considering Suncrest Middle as a location for the Saris rack, the positive spin rack will be in place by tomorrow afternoon.

Subject: Re: [Bikeboard] Win a Saris Bike Corral

Bike Board Members,
As promised, here are my task recommendations to proceed with sending a photo for the SARIS rack contest.  So far Jonathan, Emily, and I are working on this.  Would anyone else like to help?   It has to be submitted by the 29th of March, so we don't have much time to act.  I'd like folks to volunteer for the tasks below today and tomorrow.  Then we'll proceed.

Tasks
1. Derek - Contact Black Bear owners to see if they mind us asking Mr. Sellaro about the bike rack as we had considered last year.  I don't want to spend a whole lot of time on this since we did last year, but if Mr. Sellaro is ok with it, then we'll proceed.

2. Any BB Member or SARIS committee member - Submit locations you think would be appropriate for Saris rack in order to Develop list of possible businesses and locations around town that would provide greatest need for a rack.

3. Volunteer? - Email BB for vote on top 5 locations (or so) to pursue contacting.

4. Volunteer? - Develop list of contact information and call for permission to take photo of their location with a group of staged cyclists and/or students, others.  Establish time to take photo with each business.  Would be best to schedule these photos perhaps as part of a small group ride on Saturday or Sunday so we can get them all done at once, but would be nice not to have the same exact people in each one!

5. Volunteer? -  Round up group of volunteer cyclists for scheduled times.  Could use Mon Bike Club, Bike Board, or WVU Cycling Club, etc to round folks up.

6. Emily and volunteer cyclists - Take photos at locations

7. Volunteer? - Submit Photos to Saris

8. Volunteers? - Post article on Morgantownbike.com, Facebook, talk to friends about voting for our picture(s) after March 29th on the Saris website.

Please volunteer to help today or tomorrow!

Gunnar and Emily,
In prep for Thursday and this opportunity, I can dig up the old emails to the Black Bear folks in case we wish to try with them again.
Thanks Jonathan.  I can be part of the team to help with this again.

You bet we can!
Who wants to take charge of this?  Emily? Jonathan? Bueller?
(Emily might not know that we half tried this last year...)
