Good Afternoon,

I would also be interested in coordinating with the Ped Board to educate the students on the full range of transportation options.

We are in the preliminary planning phases and hope to have a firm schedule by mid-May. We are hoping to use the bike maps to get the students out on the roads and trails.  This will be part of the mapping and GIS day. We also wanted to know if the Bike Board would be interested in hosting the students for a cycling safety and information class during the fair. This could be a full day. We would need to coordinate the availability of bikes if the students do not own one. The students would then be able use the information they have learned through using the various forms of transit (Ped, cycle, bus, PRT) in the actual Transportation Fair.  We are hoping to have the fair for two days at a few locations.

If you have any further suggestions, please send them my way. Thank you for your feedback.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions.

Subject: Transportation Fair and Bike Board

Hi Frank,

I wanted to follow-up with you with a little more information regarding the Transportation Fair with MMMPO and BOPARC. This summer we are putting together a program around the end of June and the first of July for teens focusing on service learning projects.  We are working with the BOPARC to put together a transportation fair and would like to include the Bike Board and Mountain Line on this project.  Please let me know if you would be interested in doing this and when we could set up a meeting.  Thank you.

Regards,
