Seems reasonable and an average of 5 bikes/day seems realistic.

Here is a sample of the traffic count just conduct on S. High St. I exported all the class 1 vehicles into a spreadsheet. If you look at wheelbase vs speed, you see that the majority of the class 1 vehicles with a wheelbase below 46 in. speed is 20mph or below.

Average speed:
Vehicles w/Wheelbase < 46in = 15.1 mph

Vehicles w/Wheelbase > 46in = 27.5 mph

I think we can use this method to count cyclist and get a rough count.

I can't remember the last time I've seen one. didn't they stop making them in the late 70's early 80's. I had one as a kid and remember burning my leg on the muffler alot.

The Honda CT70 has always been iconic for me.
Actually they made them from 1969 until 1984, the only real major
difference being that in 1979 they changed the "foldable" handlebars
to "regular" ones. Sure they changed some colors and trim details, but
the motor and frame and such remained very much the same. There were
some early models available w/ 4 speed manual tranny as opposed to the
3 speed semi-auto one. And very early they switched from inverted
front forks to the more "normal" ones.
In 1991 they brought them back for another few years, only big
difference being that it was a 12 volt system instead of the original
6 volt.
I always wanted one as a kid. Still liked the looks and idea of them
as an adult and so a few years ago I found one w/ title (pretty hard
to do) and one that wasn't as old (more desirable) that I could
afford, it's a 1981, so it doesn't have the chrome "foldable" bar with
the big knobs on the back side. It's still a fun bike to tool around
on when it runs right, which it doesn't now that a buddy took it on a
video-rental run and rung the life out of it.  :(

Well that's my story...
