Bicycle Board Members,

Thanks to Don Dickerson, Hugh Kierig and Aira Burkhart for meeting with Bill Austin and me to develop a plan for the September 15 ride with representatives from WV’s 7 MPOs, the WVDOT and WVDOH.

The MPO Conference venue will be the Hotel Morgan.  We recommended Marilla Park for the picnic.  I recommended that Bill contact Ralph Larue, larue@boparc.org about renting the park and getting a beer permit.

We recommended that the ride proceed from the Hotel Morgan up Monongahela Blvd. to Patteson Dr., over University Av., down Campus Dr., across Beechurst to the rail trail and the rail trail to Marilla.  Attached is a cue sheet.  (Can anybody put this on a map?)

I agreed to check with Chip about conference attendees that don’t bring bikes to rent them from him.
