Frank,
Thanks for the thanks.  However, no one showed up to take the class(?!)  About 10:30 John Gaddis came to take pictures, so we talked for a bit about rescheduling but I won't do it until I get back in June.  I don't believe that anyone responded to Paul Steele's announcement for the class so it wasn't totally unexpected, but I missed the planning meeting for the DOT meeting - which I regret.  How did that go?
Had a great afternoon at the shop, working with community service volunteers, helping members get project bikes finished and completing a bike for a Mother's Day present for a customer.  Seems I've been having the best effect at the grass roots.

Subject: [Bikeboard] Thanks to Nick

Thanks to Nick Hein for spending this gorgeous Saturday when we'd all rather be riding conducting a safety workshop on behalf of the Bicycle Board for the South Park Association of Neighbors and the Greenmont Neighborhood Association.  See newspaper announcement at http://ee.dominionpost.com/Repository/ml.asp?Ref=RFBvc3QvMjAxMi8wNS8xMiNBcjAwOTA5&Mode=Gif&Locale=english-skin-custom

As you will recall, at the February Traffic Commission meeting the Second Ward Traffic Commissioner asked the Bicycle Board for guidance on conducting a bicycling event in South Park.  Thanks to Nick, not only is South Park but also Greenmont getting their kids educated (for free) to ride their bikes safely in Morgantown.

Thanks, Nick!
