Today's DP article, "Bike Lane along U.S. 60 complete", says WVDOH spent $1.6M on an 11-mile bike lane from St. Albans to Charleston.

I wonder if they're getting a 50% cost share from the communities through which it passes.  They wanted Morgantown to pay the full $25K for the Mon Blvd. climbing lane and then Terrence negotiated a 50-50 cost share.  

Do you think we should try to get them to stripe a climbing lane on the other side of the hill with their funds?  (BTW, I think it's cool that a couple of WVDOT administrators ride and live in St. Albans.)
