Dear Senator Beach,Please simply repeal 17C-11-5 (a) that requires cyclists to ride far to the right. As introduced, H.B. 4304 would have simply repealed it. Unfortunately, the House Judiciary replaced 17C-11-5 (a) with very confusing language that I doubt cyclists, law enforcement officers, traffic court judges, motorists and legislators can understand. Simply repealing 17C-11-5 (a) will make cycling safer. The language in the amended bill will not.
